Tom Ferrante and Saxafras

Arlington resident Tom Ferrante has had a long and distinguished career as a woodwind player in the Boston area. He was working as a professional musician since he was a student at New England Conservatory. One of his career highlights was as a guest soloist with the Boston Pops performing the Artie Shaw Concerto. The concert for the Arlington Jazz Festival will feature his arrangements for four saxophones, bass, and drums.
