The Samba Jazz Project
The Samba Jazz Project is an ensemble that evokes the sounds of Rio de Janiero from the 1960's when creativity combining jazz and samba was exploding. The group also performs other Brazilian styles including choro, bossa nova and baiao. Led by Dan Fox, the group has some of the area's top jazz artists as well as special guests, Brazilian prodigy bandolin player Ian Coury, and drummer
